Things you should know before you start!

What is Yoga?

Yoga is a powerful tool for self transformation. It asks you to bring your attention to your breath, which helps us to still the fluctuations of the mind and be more present in the unfolding of each moment.


How can yoga help me?

There are various benefits of practising yoga and everybody has their own reason for starting. One benefit some of my students have found is that they sleep a lot better.


Regular yoga practice has been known to increase flexibility and muscle strength; improve respiration and energy; create mental clarity and calmness; increase body awareness; relieve chronic stress patterns; relax the mind; center attention; sharpen concentration and much more. 


What do I need to bring to class?

Please walk with your own mat, face towel and water.

Yoga props (ie straps and blocks) aren’t a must but could be useful

What should I wear?

You can wear anything that is comfortable to workout in, 

Legging, Shorts, Dry fit top, whatever is clever! 

No shoes please!


Can I join a regular class if i am pregnant or should I do private sessions?

As long as your doctor has given the OK to start class, you are free to join the beginner classes. Just send me a quick email as there are a few things I’d like to discuss. :)
